Torque Browser ("Torque," "we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

Waitlist & Account Info: Email address, name, and password (hashed) when you sign up or join the waitlist.
Billing Info: Payment details are handled by Stripe. We store only your subscription tier and Stripe customer ID — never raw card data.
Usage Data: Aggregate metrics on feature usage, session counts, and errors to improve the product. We do not log the content of your automation scripts.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device info collected automatically via server logs.

2. How We Use It

To operate, maintain, and improve the Torque service.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, security notices).
To notify waitlist members when access is available.
To diagnose bugs and monitor system health.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Ever. Data may be shared with service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, a hosting provider) solely to deliver the service, under confidentiality obligations.

4. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session authentication and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not function correctly.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Waitlist entries are deleted 90 days after launch or upon request. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, HTTPS, and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure — we will notify you promptly of any breach affecting your data.

7. Your Rights
